I have a question regarding the membership controls? Recently the numbers for our site have gone down and I wondered if it was actually people leaving or whether inactive member accounts are deactivated?
The latter was included in an update recently.
I think this is a pretty harmless change all in all, but maybe there could be a framework for presenting new site settings and important changes to the admin on the first visit after an upgrade so they can tweak them before they effect anything? Like a mini version of the first time setup wizard?
Being able to sort the site settings list by “newness” would also be nice to help admins discover all the new features.

Discourse now includes a new site setting called clean up inactive users after days this is set 730 days by default.
Once a day Discourse will find all user accounts that
Never posted anything on Discourse
If you posted something and then deleted it you will not be eligible for clean up.
Have not been seen for clean up inactive users after days
Are trust level zero
This change is in place so Discourse default protects end users and removes emails of completely unused accounts.
If you wish to disable the feature, set clean up inactive users after days to high number.

is there a way to reinstate or know who has been deleted? for our setup, the record of members was important for our mapping activities.

Pregunta de seguimiento. He estado consultando a nuestros usuarios.
