Double click on username reveals blank/white screen in small chat overlay

Dear Discourse team, I hope I am not reproducing an existing bug report but I couldn’t find it so far.

Priority/Severity: Minor (but confusing for users)

Platform:

• Problem does not appear on mobile.
• All desktop and only the small chat overlay. Not the full screen.
  • Windows 10 with Firefox 128.9.0esr
  • Windows 10 with Edge 131.0.2903.112
  • Linux Ubuntu 24.02.1 with Chrome 131.0.6778.204
  • Other platforms might behave the same but were not tested.

Description:
When clicking on the username in the small chat overlay you get to the chat settings. If you click again on the name you will get a blank/white screen that can not be closed.

It is minor but it is relevant in a situation where you try to get to a user profile by clicking their username.

Reproducible steps:

I reproduced this in meta.discourse.org.

1. Chose a person to chat with. Open the small chat overlay. Click on the name of the person.

2. Now in the chat settings click on the name of the person again.

3. A blank screen appears.
