I believe there is a bug. When you open the chat window and navigate to the DM’s tab, selecting a chat and then clicking on the user’s name takes you to their profile page. This profile page typically includes sections like settings and the windows tab. However, if you click on the user’s name again at the top of the profile page, the entire window unexpectedly turns white or blank, making it unusable. This behavior seems to break the interface, disrupting the user experience.
PS: I’m on desktop, and please sharing a snip for reference.

Thanks for the details, I can repro this on Firefox (MacOS). We’ll have a look!

Yes we are aware of this issue, we have a ticket about it internally, we will try to fix it in January.

We’ve had a few more reports of this issue, so I’ll see if we can get this issue prioritized sooner — I’ll share an update here once I know more!

This should be fixed by this commit:
discourse:main
← jjaffeux:dropping-active-channel
ouvert 04:52PM - 21 Nov 24 UTC
These changes allow to load model when loading a screen of the drawer, the under… lying idea is to avoid having to rely on the global `activeChannel`, this essentially makes each screen responsible for it's data.
This change is also fixing a bug where clicking on a link routing to the same screen of the drawer you are already on, would display a blank drawer.
