Email addresses duplicated in inbound processing

I’m seeing this a lot:

emails which are in posts which get posted via inbound email get duplicated.

it looks like:

user@domain.comuser@domain.com

the one in brackets is clickable, the first isn’t. Can we get just the copy in brackets?
