Email Settings Critical vs Non-Critical

The max_emails_per_day_per_user setting: Does this apply to all emails? Or, just non-critical?

That is, if it is set to 15, a user receives 15 PM -related emails, they then change their email address (or something that requires email auth), will that email go through?

This setting does not apply to critical emails.

So critical email types can still be sent after the limit is reached:

  • account_created
  • admin_login
  • confirm_new_email
  • confirm_old_email
  • confirm_old_email_add
  • forgot_password
  • notify_old_email
  • notify_old_email_add
  • signup
  • signup_after_approval
