Enabling Solutions Plugin By Default

Continuing the discussion from Discourse Version 2.4:

The solutions plugin is everywhere. Almost all Discourse installations, mind you, have the discourse solve button. This brings us to the realization:

Sure, we can still put it as a plugin like docker_manager, which gives the chance to uninstall it if not needed, but the majority of people will want it.

Is this a good idea?

That might be your experience, but of the installs I manage (I’m into triple digits at this point) it’s on less than half. Not everyone has stuff they want fixed.

Take a look at #plugin:solved - there are occasionally issues between betas - I’m not sure everyone should have to assume that risk on the basis that some sites use it.

No this is not planned.
