Steps to repro:
-
Go to safe-mode, check “disable all plugins”

Go to the Plugins tab in the admin panel

A JS error (There is no route named adminPlugins.xxx
where xxx is any plugin name) is displayed and the plugin list doesn’t load.
Example:
It happens in my 3 Discourse instances.

If you disable all plugins, then the plugin list does not exist at all.

I understand that, but no javascript error would be better than a javascript error I guess?

This is very much in the #feature department, moving there.
Not against fixing this and hiding the link in safe mode, but I find it very hard to justify work here.
