Errors in Mermaid chart mess up Discourse's content

Discourse Mermaid generates errors when an error is made in the mermaid chart, messing with the site and generating unintended content at the bottom of the screen. An example is shown.

Yikes… this is a new feature in mermaid, will see if we can disable it.

I saw that while I was testing, but couldn’t get it to come back consistently, even while purposely breaking the mermaid chart code.

Though i see it here on Meta.
