Facebook App - "Your app is in violation of our Platform Policies"

I’m getting developer alerts from Facebook.

Any idea what this latest is about?:

Your app is in violation of our Platform Policies

http://ecmtb.net/) appears to be creating a negative experience on Facebook in violation of our Platform Policies. If you do not make the changes to get your app into compliance, we will be forced to place a restriction on your app.

Please check your my_email@gmail.com inbox for more information. If you haven’t received an email from us, please ensure that the email address listed in the App Dashboard under App Settings is correct.

You can view this and other Developer Notifications related to your app, in the App Dashboard.

On speculation, I recently switched to https. Not sure it that helped yet, though.

You need to upgrade. The colors and icons were updated a good while ago.

Are you talking about my discourse instance or facebook API?

I’m running latest stable:

Installed

v2.2.4 +5

Latest

2.2.4

You’re up to date!

Discourse. But given that you follow the stable branch, updating won’t due you much good until we release 2.3.0 stable, which won’t be for some time, or backport the changes. The commit you’re looking for is https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/4178578e09d36cc6ef4324672a24e1c872f11e56, plus the changes to variables.scss in https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commit/95e8c935c55827e7495acc589dde4f8b7c26daae#diff-864d6d0e67c0913a43406852c5e1dec6.

Kris is out at the moment, but I wonder if this is safe to backpot to stable @Johani @zogstrip?

See Facebook Policy Warning for App

There is a theme component that fixes this for people running stable, in the last post.

Perfect, thanks @michaeld! That should certainly work until the fix makes it into stable.

Thanks.

Anyone know if I need to appeal with facebook or will it automatically stop the developer alerts?

Applied the theme component fix and sent in an appeal and they restored it. Thanks!
