we’d like to enable our users to set up a feed on the forum and weekly email overview of topics of interest to them. In order to do that, we’d like our users to be able to set up such a feed and weekly digest by combining certain tags. This is possible currently by combining multiple tags with AND or with OR, but not by combining those two.
Therefore, hereby a feature request for being able to combine “AND” and “OR” for advanced searches for tags (and categories). For example:
tag1 AND (tag2 OR tag3)
It would also be really handy if this search results in a feed URL that people can bookmark. For example:
websitedomain/forum/feed/tag1AND(tag2ORtag3)
