This might be just a brain fart, but it might be useful as it’s become a UX/UI standard in many apps, such as Notion.
How about adding a / command feature with a context menu when a user is on a new/empty line to offer creating specific elements such as images, links, GIFs, polls, etc.?
It would be great if plugins and theme components would be able to “access” that.
Any thoughts? Does that make sense?
I believe it’s on our radar, but the more requests we get from it from the community, the better!
Would this be possible via a TC/plugin, or a direct PR/change in the codebase? Because looking at this, it doesn’t seem easily modified using a TC/plugin since it also needs a lib/ file?
I’m definitely not the right person to ask, but I doubt anything that touches the composer is easily/at all possible via a TC. I defer to our in-house expert @renato
