Font-awesome icons used as flair with a particular color assigned loses its color (becomes gray) in the topic map. Screenshot of icons in topic map that are actually supposed to be black and green:

I can repro this. Background color appears to display correctly, but the flair color itself becomes grey. The color appears correctly if you expand the topic map.

I just pushed a fix, if you update your site later today the colors will be correct.
