Gitlab, github and bitbucket plugins

Hello!

we are building up an open-access free-to-publish journal around the the OpenFOAM community (www.openfoam.com). OpenFOAM is an open-source C++ library under GPL.

For the communication with the community on a per code contribution basis, we would like to use git and the plugins on discourse (via https://openfoam.discourse.group/).

I would like to ask two questions:

  1. Is there a gitlab plugin around to use right away (I have seen the github plugin)?
  2. Do we need the enterprise solution from the start (we consider to buy this license, but it is hard at the starting phase of the journal)?

Thanks!

Best regards,
Holger

Discourse is open source. You don’t need to buy a license if you’re able to self host.

I think that you’d need to develop custom plugins for bitbucket and gitlab. But there could be plugins that I’m not aware of.
