When I follow the guide to making CSS changes, it gives me instructions that I can’t follow—it says I should click on Admin and then Customize, but there’s no Customize option for me.
Maybe it’s because I’m on a free trial?
All I want to do at the moment is make the user menu much more intuitive. (I don’t think I’ve ever seen a notifications menu like that before and I’m trying to do everything I can to make the UX less overwhelming for users who aren’t particularly tech-savvy as that’s about half my intended audience—having 6 notifications sections where users are expecting to see Preferences, Logout, etc., especially when it’s not clear that that’s what they are, seems like a really unnecessary complication for this group.) So if anyone knows how to replace all the notifications menus with the standard options you see when you click on a profile icon, or just how to customize the user menu in general, that would also be great!
I’ve spent several hours trying to solve this problem now and I think it might be the thing that tips the balance between me thinking the UX is too confusing for my audience and deciding to go for it.
