How do I create a link to update a username

I want my discobot greeting to include link to update a username because our sign up / login is managed by a parent website and our solution has just been provisioning usernames like user0001 etc… many people want to update their usernames but don’t know how. It seems like the link to update your username is individualized to your username, so I’m not sure how to link people to the page. Thanks!
