Is there any way where I can completely disable the “your full name” field?
I want to prevent all users from accidently exposing their identify on the forum by entering their real name in “Name” field during registration and the Account Preferences area.
Without going into to much detail as to why this is important, just know that it is.
Currently moderators are having to manually delete the name field every time a user adds their name. In addition they have to change usernames when they occasionally include the users real name. With the “Name” field disabled, now moderators workload is greatly reduced since they only have to update the rare username that contains someone’s full name.
