Hi, by endorsing do you mean clicking on the thumbup icon? Or will the 
icon in the Discourse reactions be considered as an endorsement ? This point is not clear to me. Thanks.
No. In order to endorse someone you have to specifically set them up as an expert. It isn’t an organic process.

Ok I got it now, you have to go to their profile and click on the Approve button. Would it be a good idea to have this button under each post in the categories where you can endorse? This way, the endorse capability would be more visible to users? (edited, link to feature request added)
