This seems very useful Migrate a vBulletin 4 forum to Discourse
However I’m unsure how to run this on a Discourse hosted instance, as far as I know we don’t have a login to the server.
If you’re not taking advantage of our migration services (available on our Business and Enterprise plans) then you would need to perform the migration on a separate, non-hosted site, check everything has transferred over as expected, and then provide us with a backup which we restore to your new hosted site. 
There are services available if you’re not wanting to do the migration yourself. @pfaffman at Literate Computing has done a number of them for people migrating over to our Standard plan.
