I’m slightly confused. But if you’re an admin which is what it looks like, you can’t revoke your own admin, Another admin has to do that for you. Whereas, any admin can grant/revoke their own moderator status and other users’ moderator status hence why you can see that button.

I’m guessing that the user has their email address in DISCOURSE_DEVELOPER_EMAILS in your app.yml.

If a user is made an admin that way, they will always be an admin and you can’t change it from the UX. Someone will need to edit the app.yml and destroy and restart the container (or rebuild).

Yes, I know I’ve removed moderator myself but not admin someone else do it.

I don’t remember someone add the e-mail of the $USER, but is it the case I’ll contact the right person.

That’s about changing the notification email, but the first thing that discourse-setup does is ask for the admin account(s).

But I would edit the app.yml with nano (I’d use vim) and see what addresses are there for the DISCOURSE_DEVELOPER_EMAILS.

If you do not have ssh access to the server then you’ll need to contact someone who does.

It’s very strange, another admin can see that icons, but if I review myself I can’t.
