Revoking admin doesn't enable all eligible admin buttons

When revoking an admin, the Suspend button lights up right away, however the Admins and moderators can't be deleted. words don’t go away until a page refresh.

Low priority to be sure but I’d run into it on three forums, so I can only assume others have too.

  • Navigate to the admin view of forum admin
  • click Revoke admin
  • note that the delete buttons at the bottom of the page are missing.
  • a refresh of the page is required to be able to finish removing the former admin.

heh, I just came back to report this, but was reminded I already did

Very low priority indeed. I wonder if the force-refresh hack we do in other places would be enough here (also, shouldn’t be too hard to do in a pull request ;))

Ah, but that I knew enough to make a PR - I would.

I think a force-refresh should be the way to go here.

Are the sessions updated for the affected user right away? Hypothetical situation: Admin is on rampage, I revoke rights and I expect him to be unable to do anything after I clicked the button. If he still can do anything he wants, there’s not much use in revoking his rights, isn’t it?

Yes there are. OP just suggested a UI bug
