I’m trying to display external images (images hosted on external sources, like Cloudflare Images) in the Topic List Previews theme component in Discourse. Currently, images from external sources show up in the posts but do not appear in the preview or the image viewer. How can I make external images display correctly in the topic previews, similar to locally hosted or S3 images?
Thumbnails in Discourse are generated from local uploads. They are never hot linked.
You must activate the uploading of images.
