How to link Discourse forum to mobile app?

Hi there ,

My forum was built by an external provider and I am still learning the ins and outs of Discourse.
I am wanting to try the discourse app before recommending it to my users. I have downloaded the Discourse mobile app, put in the URL link and am getting this error below.

" sorry this is not a correct URL to Discourse forum or does not support mobile APIs, have owner upgrade Discourse to latest"

The URL is correct.
Does any one know how I get my forum to support Mobile APIs?
Find out what version of discourse I’m using ?
and upgrade to the latest ?

the url should not include http or https.

The app works great. I have 5 sites linked on it.

Hi @IAmGav thank you, I have left out all http www etc I’m still getting the error. I am wondering if there is something in the admin APIs settings
