How to properly send a PM after 'very' first solution?

I wonder about the best approach to use automation for sending a PM after the ‘very’ first solution.

It’s the ‘very first’ because I found the ‘first solution accepted’ option sends PMs on every one and not just on the ‘very’ first solution.

Is this the expected behavior or did I mess up something? I’m open to ideas and discussions about it.

I just want to send as few PMs and emails as possible, but still let users know we value their contributions as well.

I’ve tested this and it does seem to be the case where the First accepted solution trigger, triggers each time a solution is given instead of just the first time. I’s say there is something wrong here.

One way around this is to use the Send PM Based on badge trigger. First youneed to enable the ‘Solved!’ badge [1]

Then when you create the automation it should look like this. Solved! = Solved 1 badge by the way.

Thanks, I thought I could do it this way, but the Spanish translation of this badge is ‘Credenciales de usuario concedidas’ (aka ‘User credentials granted’) :sweat_smile:
