How to unsub from "Hooray, new version" admin emails?

Hooray, a new version of Discourse is available!

I’m not sure where this is coming from: How do I unsub from these? I don’t want to remove my “contact email” – I just don’t want these types of emails.

Was that set by default? I don’t think I’ve ever received such an email. The notices only show up on my Dashboard. I’m not even sure where that setting is. :slightly_smiling_face:

I think the reason you don’t see that setting (or receive the email) is because we update our hosted sites automatically @JimPas So it wouldn’t make sense to ask you to update when we already do that for you.

Here’s an example of the conttents of that email:

Hooray, a new version of Discourse is available!

Your version: 2.8.0.beta1
New version: 2.8.0.beta4

  • See what’s new in the release notes or view the raw GitHub changelog
  • Visit meta.discourse.orgfor news, discussion, and support for Discourse
