Muting a user as intuitive, I swear we had a mute/ignore setting exposed in the user card at one point so you didn’t have to navigate too far to get to it. I’ll agree that it shouldn’t be too far away from reading (otherwise the burden of ignore is on the user); just need to find the right balance.
There were some bugs that we shook out early from first implementation here, maybe that’s what you’re referring to? When a user posts, it should definitely be hidden. If it’s still reproducible, open a bug report and let us know what you find and we should get that fixed.
