The new dropdown pretty much covers 150% of the screen when having several groups:

Yeah, made some changes, to improve with:

But I am not sure how much that giant list on top thing scales, we really need a better control for it.

What about something like the regular menu style (Latest, New, Unread, Top, My Posts, Bookmarks) which turns into a dropdown on mobile?
I agree it already looks a lot better but it still takes most of the screen.
Btw the “Notification” (Watching, Normal, Ignore) selector in groups now seems to expand to the right, since ~ this change (goes off screen on my monitor).

It is looking mighty fine now, though long term I would like to add “slide in” menus.
