Possible Issue With iPadOS App

There seems to be an issue with the Discourse app for iPadOS.

For a while now the bar at the bottom of the list with new posts isn’t visible anymore when “Zoomed” is selected in the device’s display settings.

Without that bar the arrow can’t be tapped, making it impossible to see all new posts and messages when there are more than fit on the screen.

The only alternative is switching to a browser.

Is this a know issue?

I searched for it, but was unable to find anything.

EDIT:

I just noticed that on this forum it is working fine.

The forum where this issue occurs is on Discourse 2.6.0.beta2.

Maybe that could have something to do with it?

You mean the notification dropdown menu, right? I’m seeing the same thing on my iPad in the app as well as Safari itself as long as the tab bar is visible.

That’s correct.

The issue doesn’t occur in Safari.
You can scroll up in Safari, which then shows the bar at the bottom.

In the iPadOS app you can’t scroll up the notification dropdown menu, so the bar at the bottom stays hidden.
