Is there a way to invite non-users via email to participate in a topic?
I thought I’d see that somewhere but I can’t see it now.

Chriss there is an invite button at the bottom of every topic page just above Suggested Topics. It is located in the buttons menu next to the wrench icon. This button allows you to invite anyone to the forum without a login required

Now my problem seems to be that the link the non-user get in the email, opens up on the topic thread, but he can’t participate. ? Maybe these a site setting that I haven’t activated?

No the setting is by default. The invite link has an expiry time period I believe. May be @sam can put some light on it
