iOS app doesn’t handle the login link properly

When the login link via email is used as authentication method, the iOS app doesn’t detect successful authentication and still displays the „connect“ button in the main menu.

How to reproduce:

  1. Add a Discourse instance to the app
  2. Chose the magic link method in the instance
  3. Share the link in the mail with the Discourse app
  4. Complete the authentication in the app
  5. Go back to the main menu

There you can see that there’s still the „connect“ button displayed on the server you just successfully authenticated with. If the server name is touched, the app navigates to the instance and you are authenticated.

Thanks for the report, we will look into this shortly. Can you confirm that you can reproduce this issue even when adding meta.discourse.org to the mobile app?

Do you mean to try this specific instance? Or the general order of things? (Just for my understanding)

I did it exactly like described in my steps because I wasn’t using the app for this forum until then.
