Is it possible to read all old message in an email account to create new topics?

Hi! We’ve started considering Discourse as a bridge between email lists and a more structured “board-like” system. It looks promising! Thanks in advance for making this cool tool available!

Allowing new topics by email is fantastic, but I would like to create new topics in Discourse based on messages already in the inbox of an email address. I can use POP3 to read its contents.

Is it possible? Is there any tool available?

Do you want to do this for the old stuff or for new stuff? If you want to import old data then you can look in discourse/script/import_scripts/mbox.rb at main · discourse/discourse · GitHub
