Is there a way to automatically close a topic after adding a tag?
For example, we use our Discourse for project management. When a post is tagged #done, could that also automatically close it?

Hello,
This is not possible at this time. You will have to close the topic manually via the admin wrench or set a topic timer for auto close. Perhaps you can create a feature request for this.
Why use the tag rather than (or in addition to) the close state on the topic? That feels a bit redundant to me?
Also, consolidating topics here, I don’t feel we need two topics covering the same thing.
Hmm… good point.
In our case it’s because we work off of the Kanban Board view, so it’s much easier to drag and drop one topic to #done than to open the topic then click on the wrench then close the topic then we still need to change the tag to #done else it’ll look like it’s still active in our Kanban Board.
