I could imagine this working by:
- having a “release channel” filter on the homepage
- All Releases
- Extended Support Releases (ESR)
- when viewing the ESR channel, only those releases are listed, and clicking a release links to the difference between them
That said, we’ve still got some other fish to fry right now that are currently more important for the versioning work overall (e.g. the theme component / plugin compatibility stuff)
