If you go to a topic that uses embedded comments, like this one , click on Show Full Post, and after that like it, it will remove the extra text, and the button will be gone.

This is a long running bug that BBS complains about a fair bit… so we should fix @eviltrout.

It looks like when a like streamed in over the message bus it was updating the cooked attribute of the post. I don’t see why we need to do that, so I’ve added the ability to omit that attribute and now it doesn’t do it:
