Problems with like notification behaviour

Hi all, long time viewer, first time poster!

I’m a moderator on a forum and have recently seen some odd behaviour with notifications and linking to them. When a notification comes in a post is liked, clicking on that notification and going to the post the like (in our case a heart) does not appear as liked unless you refresh the entire page - something that didn’t happen before. It’s very odd as the only time this appears is the first like on a post, when there’s more than one it doesn’t seem to happen.

Testing using my main mod account and a test account on two different devices (Linux desktop and Android phone, both using Chrome) the behaviour is the same on either account on any device now. I’ve asked other moderators to help and they’re seeing the same issues, on different desktop and mobile OSs and browsers.

I’m unable to find this specific problem anywhere online, wondered if anyone else had come across it and if so, what fixes did you push to resolve it? If anymore info is needed please let me know.

Thanks to everyone here for the great work and support!

Tom
