Linking SAML account to Username/password account?

Hello everyone, we have a user who previously logged into our discourse instance with a username/password login. They recently switched to AzureAD SSO login and after this, they are unable to login to Discourse. We feel this is probably because it doesn’t recognize the new user_id.

When referencing their email I don’t see multiple instances of their login.

Is there a way to link their new SAML user account with original username/password account so they can login?

We have now proceeded forward with deleting the account and letting the user recreate their account. We will see if this resolves the issue but is far from the ideal solution…

After deleting the account the customer was successfully able to login once they created a new account.
