List of countries dropdown field

What would be the way to add a dropdown list of Countries for Users, without having to create a Custom User field and add them one by one?

No, there is no automatic way of populating dropdowns.

any update on this !? I want to make countries and its states as dropdown , or is there any way to upload the list as bulk
