Looking for storage details after Discourse update

Hi there ! Hope everybody is doing well

I have just updated my discourse instance to v2026.8.0-latest.1 and everything went well. Since everytime I update my forum I have a stress that everything gets broken I wanted first to praise the team behind discourse for such nice and powerful platform and for making all the necessary updates as the product and tech landscape evolves. Really well done !

I was pleased to see the new look and feel of the admin dashboard - really nice. However, I have been looking at an information (backup space and total free space on the server) that no longer seem to be by default in the dashboard. Do you know if the information on backup space and total available storage space is available somewhere else ? Or if I need to enable any settings ?

Better insights into your community with the redesigned admin dashboard

This new design is missing some information that is really needed upfront. Version Info is missing Backup and Disk Space Info is missing Problem Checks without the green ones" (?) Maybe a chance to include this one while on it. Would it be a problem to add this back in? The UI is already there: [image] Maybe I am just sentimental about this smiley greeting me? [image] But this page is not a good replacement, claims “new version available” on each commit, and loads quite annoyingly slow …

It’s not pretty, but in the meantime before it gets added back somewhere… if you want to use the new dashboard and see this information the endpoint is still available: forum.example.com/admin/reports/storage_stats.json
