MailGun & Discourse: Sandbox subdomains are for test purposes only. Please add your own domain

  1. Got an account at MailGun
  2. Installed standalone Discourse to DigitalOcean server
  3. While installing it asked for MailGun SMTP settings. I entered them.
  4. Both mydomain.com and forums.mydomain.com (where actually Discourse is located) are verified at MailGun.
  5. When trying to register user, the logs say like this

Job exception: could not get 3xx (421: 421 Domain sandbox410fe5c7bb85483c941c05b4ec5f3495.mailgun.org is not allowed to send: Sandbox subdomains are for test purposes only. Please add your own domain

Anyone can help me out?

It seems like you put the mailgun sandbox credentials into discourse instead of the ones for your domain.

If you re-run ./discourse-setup you can change them. :+1:
