Personally I much preferred the old style (Mar '23) and was sad to see it go but if that’s gone which it has been for a while I’d like if it displayed the full date there always instead of or “Mar 2023”. There’s no shortage of space there and I don’t see why it couldn’t say like “March 10th, 2023”.
I know I can hover over to see the exact date but that’s besides the point.
You can change those via translations. That was one of the very first things I changed on my forum.
I’m looking for more of a default here because at this point I’m more of an end user than somebody hosting a site.
Then there isn’t ready to go solution. Format of time and date comes from language, I reckon, and an user can’t change the format
Such option needs a plugin 
There are lots of things I’ve always wanted to have as options as a user; translations, themes/JS, etc… but none of them have ever been official or considered afaik
