I don’t have a lot of practical experience with this plugin, but it seems like this has been raised before as well:

Thanks for this plugin, very helpful! As I understand it, the notifier for this runs only every 14 days. That means that however many topics I’ve started in 14 days (and not marked as solution) will spawn DM + email. The plugin is in active development so I think it is possible this approach could change depending on the feedback they receive.
