(Accidentally) Hit Search
Realisation that you actually wanted to press hamburger
Press hamburger
EDIT: issue is isolated to Discourse PWA.

is that gap roughly the height of the software keyboard? So when navigating to the search page the autofocus on the input triggers the keyboard, and then the hamburger isn’t resizing when the keyboard disappears?

Yes, that seems to be what is happening. However, I haven’t revisited the situation since I posted it here.
