Need to find correct robots.txt and sitemap.xml

I recently set up Discourse using the one-click installation on DigitalOcean. Everything works fine

but when started to setup seo things like robots.txt and sitemap.xml i cant find or locate the exact file which i am viewing via link in browser links like https://geekbay.org/robots.txt showing in web is not exactly the contents in which i located on server so weird

please help have to finish up seo basic for better web results google search results is so clumsy not professional for my site if any one can help please

I’m afraid the DO one-click installer is not a supported install for help here on meta. As we didn’t create it, there are too many unknowns for us to be able to consistently problem-solve what the issues may be.

If you could consider moving to a standard install instead you may find things easier, and also be able to access more community support here on meta too.

Digital Ocean and standard one are same in this context, and that is more support question of use, not install. You can edit robots.txt on settings, if you want. But default works decently good if a bot behaves good, and if not… then robots.txt is totally toothless. Sitemap will be generated automatically and there is noo need to edit it manually.

Out of curiosity — how would you like to change those to get better SEO? That isn’t normally needed.

my actual problem is my search results first page and first result of my site is not good like title and description all came in single line
and site description not coming and then social handles not appearing consecutively in first page of results thats the main issue for me

below the first result want to show of search box and some main 5-6 categories in search result
