No activation email Elastic Email

Hi

first of all : sorry for my bad english . i’m not a native speaker.

I installed discourse on my root server

i have/had some problems with the subdomain discourse.mydomain.de1 … but know it works …more or less

i choosen elastic email because my installationguide told me that. :slight_smile:

i don’t get a activation email

discourse-doctor show me this

If the message is not delivered it is not a problem with Discourse.

Check the SMTP server logs to see why it failed to deliver the message.

i have no idea where i found a “log file” at elastic email …

We don’t know either. But searching “elasticemail logs” finds this: "How to search email logs | Elastic Email Help Center

there is no entry in the logfile

any other ideas ?

why it has so complicated to use this f… emailserver ?

i solved the problem.
i used an other emailprovider
Unfortunately i dont understand why it doesn’t work with elasticemail.
The support was very nice and tried hard to help me, but … in german we say : “er ist nicht die hellste Kerze auf der Torte!”
