One is activated, another is not.
In those cases do they still show up on the Review page for you as Pending?
No, they don’t. But I think the user experience is quite clear in this case. Once the user confirms their email address, they are told that their account needs to be approved by a moderator, and then it appears in the review queue.
And then I receive a new message that 2 users require approval, but I can only see 1 in the queue. So the number in the message is still correct.
The one which doesn’t show up is the interesting one. But I haven’t yet spent time on finding out what caused it. The reason I found 2 years ago still wasn’t fixed, so I thought a few weeks until I have time for that won’t matter.
Does the “approve” button on the admin page of the user work in your case?
The one that was activated was one of many that were imported when we migrated to Discourse. I don’t know why that particular one was unapproved when all the other ones we imported had status ‘Approved’.
The other one appears to have been an incomplete signup.
I approved #1 and deleted #2. Hopefully that stops the notifications!
