Notifica tutti i proprietari del gruppo per le richieste di adesione

I’m not sure if this is a bug or not, but I’ve been doing some research for quite a while now and didn’t find anything related to my problem, so here it goes:

In my Discourse instance, I have a closed group where people can request to join. When a request is made, all group owners should be notified and included in the personal message, right? Wrong. There wasn’t a single request where all group owners were notified; it was always some of the owners, apparently picked randomly. And this keeps happening every time and it’s been happening for a long time, even with all the updates and stuff. So I beg to ask: is this a bug? Or is Discourse actually programmed to notify only some of the group owners and not all of them?

Some relevant information:

• the given group currently has 10 group owners;
• some of the group owners are moderators and others are administrators, but all of them are staff members.

Could someone shed some light on this?
Perhaps I’m doing something wrong or didn’t configure a setting correctly…

One of the last big things on the 1.7 release list is to improve the groups page. @tgxworld will be working on this in December, so I wanted to gather feedback and make sure we didn’t miss anything. Not sure we need any cap since only owners are specified in the to: line. I guess last 5 active owners adds a sanity limit, but do people generally have more than 5 owners. Also, perhaps all owners should get the PM. The larger issue IMO in the @mention in the body of the owner notification email. A workaround is here. This @mention issue and who gets notified isn’t really related to this group feature, but the specific PM generated could use a fix.

Esiste una strategia per sapere quando c’è una richiesta di adesione a un gruppo in attesa da tempo? Abbiamo diversi gruppi sul nostro forum che ricevono traffico solo in periodi specifici dell’anno; se qualcuno fa una richiesta in un momento insolito, spesso rimane in sospeso per giorni o settimane. Dato che ci sono circa sedici gruppi, è un po’ laborioso entrare in ciascuno di essi e controllare quotidianamente la scheda delle richieste.

I proprietari dei gruppi spesso non sono partecipanti frequenti nella stagione morta, ma come moderatore e amministratore sono presente sul forum ogni giorno. Il modo migliore è forse iscrivermi come proprietario di tutti i gruppi, in modo da ricevere le notifiche sulle richieste?

Ho alcune idee qui, ma quella che mi piace di più è modificare la pagina attuale dei gruppi per mostrare anche il numero di richieste di adesione. Dovrebbe essere una modifica semplice che offra una panoramica di tutte le richieste attive.

Mi piace il terzo mockup (vedi il 4° gruppo), ma sono aperto a suggerimenti.

Un’altra cosa che mi viene in mente è aggiungere una nuova pagina (o in fondo alle liste dei gruppi o come scheda nella pagina dei gruppi) che elenchi tutte le richieste di adesione attive, ma credo che complicherebbe le cose più del necessario.
