Post editor; Heading not working for less than 3 charactors

Hello, I have some questions with the Heading.
When I have a word less than 3 characters, the Heading does bot work with it. For example:

1.PNG1297Ɨ73 4.08 KB

I have to add a ā€œ-ā€ to make the heading apply:
2.PNG1323Ɨ66 6.25 KB

I am not sure this is a bug. Anyone could explain this?
