Posts containing an event can only be edited by event owner

A post can be edited by anyone who has the required permission. When it contains an event, that only the owner can change, the text surrounding the event can still be changed.

Actual behaviour:
Using an event inside a post “locks” this post. Attemts to edit it, as someone who’s not the event owner, results in “Current user is not allowed to act on this event.”, even if the event itself is not edited.

This is a problem for me, also. Is it a setting I’m missing somewhere, or is it actually a bug?

I see now that it is a knonw issue listed here: 🗓 Discourse Event
