Problem with changing password from mail

Hello! I have installed Discourse on a VPS server. When registering an administrator account, I entered the wrong password from the mail. Now there is no confirmation. Can I change my email password without reinstalling Discourse?

I have changed the SMTP details, but the forum details have not changed. What to do to make the data change?

If you had any errors in your app.yml and made changes , you MUST rebuild the container for those changes to take effect!
cd /var/discourse/
./launcher rebuild app

So when you go to /admin/email you’re still seeing the old SMTP credentials? I don’t know what “forum details” or “data change” you’re referring to.

Yes. When i go to / admin / email i still see old SMTP credentials.
