Should the following:
… not sort by ASC instead? Would make more sense to tag recently active moderators rather than moderators that may not have been seen in >1 month - or even more.

Wouldn’t descending do that?

You’re right. This seems to be an edge-case with our forum because there are some “dummy” accounts used to mask identities using a plugin, which have a last_seen_at as null because they were bulk created users.
