I am new to Discourse and am setting up a new forum. I have a few questions about the title, long and short site description:
- Where do people see these info in forum?
- Will search engine pick up these info and use it in the search snippets?
- Is there an optimized word limit for the descriptions?
I appreciate if anyone has any examples for reference. Thank you very much!
Update:
I have found where the long description go, it’s on the About page. I also found that the long site description will be used for URL link preview description. I am still confused about the short description though.
